energy update: embody, take action, become magnetic

Hey, it’s time for an energetic update. Spring has fully arrived, and it’s brought some serious intensity to the table - so much has happened since we entered the year of the Water Tiger!

Since the Equinox and full moon in Virgo last month, we’ve seen some major shifts, and if you’ve been valiantly trying to maintain a fair amount of stability - well, you might be having a rough go of things.

The energies of the moment can feel unsettling and dynamic.

Lots of space is being made for new awareness to come through, and that will require us to allow some old patterns to crumble. You may feel ungrounded and agitated, and may be experiencing upheaval in your relationships, living situation, job or work atmosphere … or several of those!

Here is my cosmic navigation in a nutshell for April 2022 -

1. This is a time to look for deep medicine in the simple, grounding moments (rituals) that make up your daily life - and to remember that YOU are not static or separate from the rest of the universe.

Your body elemental has needs - because we are here to have a 3D experience.

It may feel tempting to “check out” under the guise of spiritual practice, but in fact, sometimes the spirituality we need is found in a nourishing pot of homemade soup, or in hitting the gym and breaking a sweat, or even in doing yardwork and getting some sun on your skin.

Our body provides a critical piece of our Earth experience, and yet, so often we try to transcend our human needs as if they’re shameful, inconvenient, or a distraction to our higher calling?

Your body IS part of your higher calling! That goes for whether you’ve had some health challenges, or you’ve just been slacking on your skincare routine.

EMBODY yourSelf. Eat yummy, nourishing food. Do stuff you actually enjoy. Challenge yourself. Quit hanging out with people who harsh your mellow. Indulge in something that makes you feel fantastic. And please, quit apologizing for being yourSelf.

Quit pretenting all that’s not important - because it is.

If you’ve been experiencing some uncomfortable or annoying “body stuff” - you may wish to reframe this as an invitation to nourish and reconnect more deeply with your human side. (Obviously, care for yourSelf properly in ALL the ways)

We may be spiritual beings, but our bodies are not just high-maintenance meat suits.

We shouldn’t fall into the trap of treating ourSelves poorly, either as an inconvenience or a chore.
