I know everybody's on the keto-train right now - and you'll find me heading in the opposite direction.

All carbs are NOT created equal--and our brains need complex carbs (i.e. healthy "sugars") to function optimally. Our bodies are amazingly resilient - we can survive and even thrive on a very VERY wide variety of diets.

In the long run, we are meant to eat a variety of plant foods. That is the biological TRUTH.

Maybe you're vegan, maybe you have a kettle chip addiction (hey, you and me both), maybe you raise your own dairy and meat cows. COOL - you do you, babe.

But you'll never convince me that eating fruit is bad.

Nutrition is literally the foundation of our health and wellness (or lack thereof), yet most mainstream medical doctors only get one semester of nutritional education.

So much of what's currently parroted as "fact" is a mangled combo of lobbying nonsense paid for by corporate interests.

Number one - FRUIT is GOOD FOR YOU.

Fresh, whole fruit =/= fruit juice, candy, white rice, or beer…

We've got people avoiding citrus and berries (full of healing phytonutrients you can’t get anywhere else) because they're concerned about the sugar content.

Nevermind about the thousands of plant-based nutrients that science hasn't even discovered, let alone been able to start explaining...

Ditch the fruit-fear, you'll feel better.

THIS ugly-gorgeous fruit is in fact a piece of beaded art by Kathleen Ryan - see more of her work here.
